Berserk! is a small roguelike game created for the 2006 October Seven Day Roguelike challange. It is a fantasy survival game of tactical bloodshed, loosely based on Kentaro Miura's Berserk manga.
Upstream: http://berserk.chaosforge.org/

1) Enable extras-devel
2) Install berserkrl

This is version svn-r181, using fpcvalkyrie -library version svn-r253.

Game is written in Pascal and it is console/ascii, no mouse.

After installing, give user write access to the directory, unless you can't save.
Code:
sudo gainroot
chown -R user /opt/berserkrl
Toggle fullscreen and use smallest font before launching game, run:
Code:
cd /opt/berserkrl ; ./berserk

I have discussed on IRC with chaosforge guys and they know what I'm doing. My request for separating readable and writeable files have been added to the TODO-list.

I also asked "Is there any other open source games using valkyrie-library than diabloRL and berserk", without answer.
