Hi all!

Anyone have any experience with the OS2008 Media Player and accessing mythtv over upnp?

When I was playing around to get to know my new N800 with OS2008 my MythTV just suddenly appeared (to my big surprise as I did not know anything about those features). But I did not get to try anything, and after that it does not appear at all in the Media Player.

I have tried setting up another UPNP AV server using gmediaserver, but that did not show up aether.

Any thoughts, suggestions or ideas?

Suggest a quick search on the term "UPnP" in the forum. I am aware of a number of threads on Media Players that support UPnP including latest Media Player in OS 2008.

No joy on upnp for myth, but whenever they port maemo-myth to 2008, and you have the transcoding setup on your network, you'll have recordings and live tv on your N800! I had it working on OS2007, but couldn't keep myself from upgrading.
