No, pull back because vitriolic statements as such do nothing to better anything. Voicing your opinion is one thing. I do it daily. What debate? If TMO is failing, then it fails. Neither one of us is on a committee or council or even the administration team. Our perspective is that of an user. We have them, we think in certain ways... because we see only certain things.

But to ask for this site to switch to WP<%some version%> just because you feel like it, trust me. There's a couple of existing WP7 sites that got you covered.

http://www.wpcentral.com so far has been a decent source of information, I've yet to dive into forums there.

It is now very clear why this community is in the mess it is in and all because of the troublesome members who only want to argue and call others names.

No teamwork whatsoever on here, only namecalling and flaming etc etc etc.

The community here is only indicative of the members here.

The mess that's going on around Nokia is due to bad management. Maemo should have been a much more finished products since its release in 2005. Here it is, in 2011 and it's been started, stopped, restarted many times and still doesn't have the mindshare nor market infiltration as even something as low-level as Bada or even WP7.

You cannot blame this community for that. Nor can you fault people from calling you names when you post such ham-fisted threads about how you see how it should be, but you don't offer much in the sense of solution.

It should be like this <bam>, it should be like that <boom>, it should be like I see fit <blam>, it should be better <blammo>

None of that rhetoric invites discussion. It just shows your opinion. Want a discussion, have one. Want to argue... continue on.

That's my take mate. You're upset, understandably so. But this community is pretty much shackled to whatever Nokia drops on the ground.

Abill are you deliberately trolling or did you just forget to take you meds?

There is no way I am having anything to do with a Microsoft product unless I'm getting paid good money for it. If this site turned into WP*.org (and you can't have asterisks in a domain name, btw) I would never come back and I'm sure many others would leave too.

If you want a sure way to kill this community then changing TMO to a WP forum is a guaranteed way to do it, which is the opposite to what you claim you want.

You have just summed it up completely and all down to bad management and decisions by this community and if all everyone wants to do is argue then so be it.... this community is doomed to close.
