Guys, iḿ a little tired of maemo and want to try MeeGo as my primary OS.
So, i dont have a linux installed on my pc, but i have a Ubuntu live CD (11.04) and i tried to install meego using it.
Everything went ok until i did the "SUDO ./" command at the terminal.
it says: "sudo: ./n900-de-emmc-installer.sh: command not found"

i did everything as the wiki says, even put meego images /home/ubuntu/de-installer/, but no luck till now...

i am root! i did "su root" after configure my passwd and everything...
i want meego!

What im doing wrong?

Can i use windows instead linux? thanks!

hey guys. I had success doing my journey to meego OS. BUT, the system is very imature yet. I tried NEMO + Meego CE 1.3 and it is sooo much faster! But no use for day-to-day.
So i was wondering, N900 is capable to run various OS´s, but just maemo 5 is usable for end user. I tought at least 3 of them was usabel, but i was wrong...
NiTDroid is cool, but no phone capabilities are the main "problem". Why it take so long?
Not that i hate Maemo, i love it! But it just became boring. Im with N900 1 and a half year from now and im tired of maemo UI. And i cannot afford a new phone right now.... thing is, ill have to wait!

thankyou!
