I should have checked it before. I was sure that swap partitions are being auto-mounted but they are not. Will fix it in the script tomorrow.

And going to sleep.
And Kubuntu desktop 11.10 also. (without the dist-upgrade during the install process)

There is a problem with the meego-image selection/download in revison 6. The script always wants to download the meego image even if I selected nothing to do with it.

I have installed Ubuntu 11.10 on my n900 with the v6 script and all I can say is: that is really slooooow.

There is a (old enough) post of Carsten Munk, how he did working clock and battery (with bme) working on MER.
I have not checked it yet

(maybe it will work with other booters

- what do people use here, by the way? I use uboot-pr13, but would prefer multiboot, If it was possible; since the last can load 'power-kernel' for maemo -

changing the parameter for maemo's rootfs directory;
In general, as I have understood, the maemo's utility is called with chroot to run bme to manage the battery:

chroot /mnt/initfs /usr/sbin/bme_RX-51 -b

having mounted all those system directories, of course)

PanzerSajt, install LXDE (did you try it?) - that one of the very few possibilities (if any other) to run ubuntu with graphics on N900.

I thinks that's because it's running out of RAM. You can check revision 10 (just committed it), it should work with swap.

It was a 404 error in the wget.
They've deleted OMAP3 image:

Have you fixed it in revision 10?

It's still present in the http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-preinstalled/20111112/
But I've deleted it from the script.

UPDATE: The same for ubuntu-daily.
