Hello)

Faced with the fact that my nokia observed two strange things with the camera:

1. The backwardness of the camera, shows that the picture is taken after the flash was like. Recently had to shoot 5 times the text to catch the flash, is this normal?
2. Just awful quality photos taken with a flash, easily seen on the attached photo
The first picture with the flash turned off, the second flash on "lit up" the entire upper right corner.

In other nokia N97 mini, pictures on it are obtained in better times.
All settings are on auto, set KP48, CSSU last.

Does anyone have ideas because of what it could be?)

The blue parts of camera lens cover + "chrome" like part result in distorted flashlight. Check without backcover. If that helps, just paint shiny chrome part (and blue ones too) black, i.e. with permanent marker.

Was discussed million times, You could get answer just using search option...

Unfortunately never seen such a topic, but trying to find a similar problem, sprinkle ashes on my head.

Thank you, you were right. Without cover (had to try to start the camera in this state) images were obtained without any extra spots! Thank you so much again.

It may be also worth mentioning, that using Mugen Cover (with, for example, DIY dual-scud battery - real 3000 mAh one), one don't experience this problem. It is also possible to mod Mugen Cover to contain camera lens shutter (as in stock cover) - see my signature for link to related post/topic.

Good luck with photos!

I am probably the only idiot who has been taking pictures with the N9 and 'didn't' press the onscreen camera button and wait to allow the auto-focus to kick in. When the white box on the screen turns blue, release the camera button - pictures are far more crystal clear now!
