Hi... I just recently purchased a barely used tablet. It has version 4.2007.38-2. However youtube framerate is still unacceptable. I'm having trouble downloading anything much. I only managed to download and install Mplayer. Canola's installer always gets corrupted along with most of the other things I've tried. I try installing Canola2 from the repos and I am told dependencies aren't met... How do I resolve that? The package refresh takes a long time... over a minute.. .I disabled all of nokia's repositories. What else can I do to get the device moving faster? Will reflashing help?

Wait until things calm down, then flash OS2008 (you're on OS2007 now, which is old). Install the repos for OS2008 from http://www.gronmayer.com/it and you should be good to go.

Your current issues are A. Old software and B. Overloaded repositories.

I'd put it back in the box and wait until Monday until I tried to update anything.
