I picked up the iGo keyboard from Amazon (the $30 special) and was able to successfully pair it to my N800 running OS2007. After upgrading to OS2008 I can't pair it to my tablet anymore.

I put the keyboard in pairing mode and when I scan for a new paired device with the N800 the keyboard shows up. I select the keyboard and I get the box with the passcode. Whenever I try to pair it I immediately get a pairing failed message.

I can pair the keybpard to my N95, so the keyboard does work, just not with my tablet running OS2008.

Any ideas on what to do?

I am having the same issue except with my Apple Wireless Keyboard. The keyboard worked exceptionally well in OS2007, paired with minor issues in the beta of OS2008 and won't give me the chance to enter the passkey in the latest OS2008.

Is anyone else having the issue where the N800 sees the keyboard connects, but then does not provide time to enter a passkey before saying the pairing failed?

Any help?

I could actually enter the passcode, but the keyboard does not successfully re-pair any more, the BT connection dies within a few seconds. Haven't filed a bug yet - but I'll track down the details over the holidays...

I have been having some issues too and with a bt headset also... sounds like BT is screwed up in 2008 final?

A few of us also are having problems, you can also check out the thread http://www.internettablettalk.com/fo...346#post113346

Difficult to figure out where the thread should live, both N800 or OS2008 are good...

I just reinstalled OS2008 without restoring my backup and the keyboard now pairs (Im using it for this post). Seems that there may be problems when upgrading and restoring a backup.
