Hi folks. I was browsing around and found this http://gametel.se/

anyone reckons this will fit the N900? it only specifies maximum width of the phone as 72mm (which would definitely fit the N900 if width is the only parameter). but the lower clamp looks like it might have issues clearing the thickness of the N900?

a bit pricey but quite nice quality from the photos.

comments?

i know there are other bt solutions around like using the ps3 controller but this is different because you can mount the phone onto the controller and carry it as a single unit.

wow, this crap costs more than razer onza TE, and about the same as neo-geo pad and marvel versus pad and those three are some of the best gamepads in existance...
I personally use zeemote plus n900's keyboard, and there is thar rubbery thingy that goes over n900's keyboard and turns it into gamepad, all much cheaper than that piece of crap that doesnt even have enough keys for n64/psx emulator

My guess is it will be able to hold the N900 in place.

Nice device indeed, supporting both USB and Bluetooth. Will stick with my gamegripper for now, but would love to hear some users experience.

as n900 narrows itself to the bottom im not so sure that it will hold it all that firmly, e.g. it could drop out if your not perfectly still while you play, so the holder itself becomes useless in that case

i sent them an email. they replied. the clamps are only 15mm tall, so they will most likely not fit the N900.

they also said the keypad can be configured to use a couple of different bluetooth profiles (HID keyboard is one of them). so there's a good chance they will work.

the rubber thing on the keyboard = game gripper. i have one.

it might...

this is what they said to one of my questions:

Hi
You are right , the thickness of your phone might be problem, the clamps are
only 15mm high. On the other hand the phone does not have to be attached to
Gametel so you might find it useful anyway.
Also, look here http://www.gametelcontroller.com/ind.../support/modes for how to activate the different modes of the controller.

i'm guessing that's exactly why the gamegripper bluetooth unit never made it to production.
