Many thanks Spjindizzy.
I have an Asus pocket router, not a linksys, but I think they are roughly of the same size. Mine is approximately like a 20-pack of sigarettes or thereabouts (I don't smoke so have no access to a physical comparision..)
It comes in a little bag that makes the whole thing slightly bigger. But the only essentials is a very short ethernet cable and an equally short power cable, so it can be powered directly from an USB port. It also includes a small normal power adapter, just in case. Very handy. The concept's been discussed in earlier threads if you go back a bit, try searching for travel router or pocket adapter or some such if you're interested. In any case it boils down to 'very useful'.

I have the dlink version. Purchased at Best Buy about a year ago for like $99. Has come in handy many times in hotels that only have wired ethernet and I carried 2 laptops with me at the time. 1 for work and 1 for everything else. It stays in my computer bag for all away from home travels.

I am planning to buy a Patriot 16GB SDHC for my N800 with OS2008.
Can anyone confirm that Patriot 16GB SDHC works well with the N800/OS2008?

Thanks,
Al

Al,

Dan here.
I upgraded yesterday at the Nokia store in NYC and the I have had two 16gb Patriot cards for several months now and they run even faster on the new OS 2008. You will be very happy. Just follow advise on this thread on how to add and remove files from cards. Enjoy my friend!

I also went and bought the d-link router for about $45 at JR music world and I now have wireless at hotels and offices and homes that have ethernet ports. It is so tiny and yet so powerful. Highly recommend them. lol
