Does anyone know why some connections show meters in Green, some in Brown? In general, I connect well with Green ones, but almost could never get the browser to work with brown ones (even when the meter is full), though the Internet Radio always works regardless of color.

Since there are 4 bars for the signal level, I'm guessing 25% for each one? So that would mean Green is 76%-100% and Brown would be 51%-75%. When I used to own a PSP, I could only connect to signals 70% and higher. So I'm guessing that's why you can't connect to a Brown signal.

I've had luck with signals of 2 bars and higher. 2 is quite flakey. If I'm immobile, ie drinking a coffee somewhere, I can connect and get data on a single red bar - - but we're talkin at like 300 baud speeds and the error tX count shoots way up.

and why are some W icons in strong blue while some others are in very light blue?

Strong blue indicates infrastructure connections, while light blue indicates adhoc connections.
