claws won't flash for me after checking everything. However when I click "device on" the led comes on when the screen goes into hibernate... so it does work. It appears claws isn't notifying the led system to activate. I have it set to retrieve mail automatically, and I hear the new mail sound play but no led light flashes when my screen is off. Any ideas? All led options in control panel are on except for "Device on"

I've been trying to adjust the columm widths in the message list. I can adjust them the way I would like, but the widths don't seem to save for me. Is this normal? Or fixed in 3.2?

Specifically I'm making the Flag, Status and Attachment columns a little wider as the icons for the theme I'm using get cut off.

Would it be possible to add a "Mark thread read" option? (there's an "ignore thread" but I don't think it's the same, if it is and it'll show me new messages in the thread, just tell me).
And, is there a way to direct mailto: links to claws instead of the built-in email program?

If it's posted somewhere I missed it, but how do I make claws the default email client...? and either remove the original email that comes with the n800 or just not use it if removal is a pain. On the claws maemo site I only found a script that moves current mail over to the claws mail program.

It's not possible, yet. I think a bunch of us are waiting.

It's the same for me too.
A few posts back in this thread Claws gave a clear explanation. Still thought, I haven't managed to make that 'stupid' led blink by claws-mail.

The led blinks fine when new msn/gtalk/etc messages arrive by the rtcomm and the message window is in the background (no need of hibernation).

One more thing I notice is that the number of messages reported in the panel are not most of the times correct. Sometimes it's under-estimating and in others it's over-estimating. Has someone seen this?

Not sure if this is what you mean, but when downloading messages, Claws acts as if there are always at least 13 new messages. For example, if there is in fact just one new message to be downloaded, the progress bar at the bottom will read "13/14", and then "14/14", and then it will produce the one new message. Strange, yes. But I've gotten used to it.

Sorry, wasn't very clear..

when I said panel meant the 'info banner' (activated from preferences>receive) that gives you a desktop popup when you have new mails.

Anyway, not really a problem. I don't really care if the new mails are 7 or 8 just that it tells me of new mails.

Just a request or a simple 'how to' if it is already available:

Is it possible to have a button for the 'move..' operation in the bottom when in folder view?

Basically, I would like to move spams to my spam folder faster and a button for move or better 'move to spam' where you could specify which is your spam folder would be really great.

I've noticed in settings a panel for creating a button but didn't manage to figure out how it works..

Thanks in advance.

I really like claws but does the interface seem overly sensitive to anyone else... I have to try several times to tap & hold the stylus on a message to get options to come up, it almost always pops open the folder view and shows my message floating around for a second or two before I get back into the inbox view. Is there any way to adjust this?
