Greetings.

Recently I bought used Nokia N900,and I'm new on this forum. I noticed that display and base of my cellphone are not aligned.
I draw a picture of this case:

Does somebody know how can I realign it?
Thank you.

somebody probably didnt put it back together right after disasembly, dont know how good you are with a screwdriver but n900 is the easiest phone to take apart and than put together that in the last 10 years probably

Actually, I've already disassembled and reassembled it, still same thing... I was watching on that hook which must go in first, and then connected cable... Does this have something to do with the slider itself?

I've had this on my N900 from day 1. I've never opened/disassembled it. For the most part, I try to ignore it. But every time I reach for the N900 I can feel the very slight misalignment.

Yes, I feel that too, and it's very annoying.

my phone is 2 years old and the mechanism is still as new(disassembled it at least 20 times), sturdy and "perfectly" aligned, so you guys are either unlucky or your n900 slider needs repair...
