Even if it were possible to have an animated background, it would be a really bad idea, as it would take up considerable system resources on an already resource-challenged device. Now get back to growing beets and selling paper already!

Yeah this would be cool, like in the LG Viewty, fish swimming around, and when you touch the screen, they follow your finger/stylus around.
