Sorry, I just remembered that I had done another tweak and disabled auto brightness yesterday before the Tmobile mms,, both tweaks fonts enlarging and auto brightness disable worked excellent and I was so thrilled,, until the tmobile tweak... Urghh I wish i never did that..
I'm hoping you be patient with me as i'm not tech savvy and hoping you will get this working for me.

Auto brightness is known not to work.

Enabling T-Mobile MMS has no effect on any other tweak.

1. Download with your phone this file: file1
When phone will ask you if you want to download press OK, after this it will ask to save, press SAVE.
2. Download with your phone this file: file2
 When phone will ask you if you want to download press OK, after this it will ask to save, press SAVE.
3. Open terminal and write:
devel-su (press enter)
this will ask for password, write: rootme (press enter)
* when you write pass, it's not appeared on your screen, it's ok.
After this write:
cp -f /home/user/MyDocs/Downloads/libmessagingwidgets0.css /usr/share/themes/base/meegotouch/libmessagingwidgets0/style

and press enter.

After this write:
cp -f /home/user/MyDocs/Downloads/libmms-messaging-plugin.css /usr/share/themes/base/meegotouch/libmms-messaging-plugin/style

and press enter.

After this write:
devel-su user -c "killall -KILL messaging-ui"

and press enter.

4. check your conversation app

Hi, I followed all you wrote and still get the crash..Urghh..

Question, when I downloaded those files 1 and 2 I see them in "Transfers" with:
? libmms-messagin..
completed
? libmessagingwidge..
completed
on top it says done and bottom clear.
Do I need to do anything to those files in the transfer??
B/C when I click on them it says:
Downloading

Also:

Any new instruction, please???

It was a brutal day missing communication with important things in messaging!!

The "allow ad-hoc on startup" resets after a reboot on version 5.3.

Actually, the disable brightness worked flawlessly for me yesterday,,, but my last tweak of tmobile mms thing screwed up all, as I now can't keep the conversation SMS app open and disable brightness is no longer working..

I must of missed or typed wrong when I did the last tweak tmobile mms... Mad at myself... But there must be a solution for if one makes a mistake, no??

OK,, I just tried to see if tweak works and disabled the auto brightness, It works fine and I love it!!!
But I still can view all my SMS and MMS from all in conversation app, but when I click on any one, it crashes still...

I would love to get this solved tonight,, busy day tomorrow and I need to communicate..

I just tried the procedure again.. NO fix!!

Are the 2 files suppose to be and stay in the "TRANSFER" ??

Everyone know how to change background color in Conversation? Default is white, in want to change to black...

ZIP file from the first post is not empty, it's include backup folder...

Open terminal and write:
rm -f /home/user/.mms/profile.conf

And tell me what you get.. And check you conversation app..
I tried this and I get rm /home user
it says: is a directory

I also see the latest 2 files you asked me to download via N9 in when I open filebox app I see them in the downloads /home/user/MyDocs

I really think I'm doing what you are telling me the right way..

But the crash still happening.
