Could problems with this script encountered by some people be by any chance firmware related? I was playing yesterday with my gf's N9, on which she has a slightly different firmware (we both have pr 1.2 though the exact firmware name vary), and could observe some differences compared to my N9 - more "greenish" tint to the screen color, faster rotations of the home screen (with homescreen settings app) - so it seems firmwares vary slightly IMO.

erm, uninstalled fastern9 because it slow the system down to a crawl after a day or two and apparently tracker stops indexing my messages still looking forward to the next version though

I wasn't sure if it was FasterN9 who did the message problems or the operator (just changed at the time I used FasterN9) and now uninstalled because I wasn't the only one

Hi,
I feel like living dangerously and want to install this FasterN9.

Where do I find instructions on reflashing the N9?

How do I download the actual file to the device?
do i need first to put it on my Ubuntu and then transfer it to the N9 ? if so what after? how do I find the file and run it?
Yes I am a beginner.....


Help will be appreciated.
