I tried to install android 2.3 as described in a website.at first it worked.. due to some reason i had to reflash my n900.. now when i try to install android again it says
"Nokia-N900:~# bzip2 -d N12_UMay.tar.bz2
bzip2: Can't open input file N12_UMay.tar.bz2: No such file or directory.
"
when i instaled 1st this error didnot come..what should i do now...somebody please help me with good and working tips

thank you bro....... i have 1 more doubt. ..i installed android on 8gb memory card....i want to use 16gb as 8gb is too slow....how can i do it?? any way?

Hi,
it is slow due to CPU and not the space ! you should install setcpu on nitdroid and overclock and remove the widgets from the desktop to gain more speed

Or use auto-installer and install it in EMMC. And then enable swap and dalvik vm to speed up Nitdroid. I have never overclocked my phone in Nitdroid.

IMO installing Nitdroid on the emmc is risky especially for a newbie
