The auto-installer cannot do anything to the memory avaialble, since it is dependant on another thing [see OptFs].
There is a way to change this, but this requires a lot of work,,,,,Originally Posted by aditya_123412

This page has the steps for that, but are not easy,so proceed only if you know what you are doing...

Aditya is correct. However, with the methods in the link he/she provided, you might as well end up in reflashing the N900.
On the other hand, while there is no automated way of doing it, there are ready-made customized eMMC image files that you can flash your N900 with. You have a choice of either having an 8GB "/home" partition or 5 GB "/home" partition. It's in the Wiki Page of NITDroid.

Can't escape flashing, but this is the easiest that we can have.

yes i know this would be the best route to take but for now i have freed 1gb up, games i never played.
meamo seems to be running smoother too as an added bonus.

I hate to admit it but I got the Nitdroid running but I got tangled when after rebooting the screen displays
"Cant flash kernel, required files not found, guru meditation ..."
I assume that my problem starts with the user/home/MyDocs.
I placed the kernel and the zip file in the 32G HD memory not knowing where the heck is user/home/MyDocs.
I tried to place it on the .documents, and LOL, im not sure if that was the best thing to do.
Help me out guys, sorry, just starting to learn the X Terminal.
