Thanks for your advice. How to create a "log"?

Edit: Okay, I have the log and will upload it for you. You will get a message. Thanks.

I have seen, that there are a lot of private datas inside the log. Therefore I used the strong way: I uninstalled Yappari and removed every Yappari file from the N900, which has been left. Then I installed Yappari .16, again. Now I am at the point of trying to register and get the massage "Too many registration attemps. Please try again later."

I needed the full log. Now it's too late. I needed to read what were the errors that you were getting *before* you got the "too many registration attempts".

Anyway if you're getting that error means that you'll be unable to register and you've been temporarily banned from Whatsapp. Some people say you'll get that for a whole month, though I haven't personally tested it.

You won't see any of that in the next update, sorry. The next update will be a decent release for contact synchronization and hopefully open chats persistence.

Remember we don't have a documentation of the Whatsapp protocol. Each feature, even if it's really silly, needs to be hacked and that takes a lot of time... It's not like "oh I run Wireshark and I can see how it's done", specially uploading multimedia pictures to servers, that's like the most secure thing Whatsapp has.

Do you send a version string to the server like Wazapp?

Of course, but that's only sent during log in, not during registration, and I don't use that one. Yappari spoofes an iPhone, not a Symbian phone.

I have a STRONG feeling that the registration method Yappari uses (and maybe Wazapp) is now blocked and nobody else can register anymore. Time will tell...

EDIT: Actually I have made some tests myself and I think it's safe to say the Yappari registration is now blocked and no new users might be able to register anymore.

Anyway I knew this day would come. Eventually Yappari won't be able to log in anymore as well.

Hope in the next release you will include set "username"

Do you think spoofing a Symbian phone might be a safer option?
AFAIK, iPhone users have to pay for WhatsApp up front on iTunes, whereas Symbian and Android users get to use WhatsApp free for a year, then only have to pay.

Perhaps they have been able to detect spoofing an iPhone as there have been registrations without corresponding purchases on iTunes. It may be harder to tell a real Symbian from a spoofed Symbian.
