I also have the battery issue.
The app battery usage telling me there is a battery drain.
Normally the phone uses 10mA it says and with Cepi's version its draining 119mA. Wazapp is using 73% of my battery at this moment.
If u need any more info Cepi PM me.
Its working further lovely.

Hi everyone, my name is Fernando and I live in Uruguay. A little country in south america. I follow these thread since it began. The reason... like everybody else who bought a N9 and realised that there was no Whatsapp for our phones.
I want to know if there is some kind of news about the group chat names and images and video transfer support for wazapp. Thanks and regards,
Fernando.

Did anyone figure-out how to remove the ding-ding message sound from Cepis hack on top of TGalals 0.2.6 version? I have noticed that the normal "tsk" sound still plays but mostly at the same time as ding-ding. So I figured just to delete my ding-ding sound from the system it would be OK, but that's a bad way of solving problems. So if someone comes up with a solution, don't be afraid to tell!

however the following steps seemed to solve my problem half the time and I only use wazapp with wifi connection, just to mention in case it makes any difference and pressing the blue location icon as mentioned earlier did not solve the issue. I'm not fully clear if the protocoltreenode.py shared earlier was addressing this but my filebox isn't rooted so the steps below happened to work for some reason.
when wazapp is running with wifi connection but cannot send and/or recieve messages,
1. Turn off internet connection with wazapp still running
2. swipe down to close wazapp (Do not quit from the wazapp menu)
3. turn on internet connection after a few minutes when u generally expect incoming messages to your wazapp
4. try sending a message again..
Hope it works for those facing the same problem too as a temporary solution so you don't need to delete your conversations.db! Otherwise, I guess i was lucky...
