If you can't wait the deb version. Please do this:

In the path: /opt/waxmppplugin/bin/wazapp/

In the File: protocoltreenode.py

Go to line 332 and 333.

Change this

Code:
self.realOut.write(1);
self.realOut.write(0);
to

Code:
self.realOut.write(0);
self.realOut.write(4);

Edit the file with root.

Cheers!
Yuhuuuuu This really works, my wazapp is alive, thanks for the hint

This is how I did it (note: I'm a experienced unix user so I used vi to edit the file):

1. Open the terminal
2. switch user: devel-su
3. Change to location: cd /opt/waxmppplugin/bin/wazapp
4. Edit the file: vi protocoltreenode.py
5. Searched for the string inside vi: /self.realOut.write
6. Moved the cursor to where the number is.
7. Replaced the number with the "r" option in vi
8. Repeat the operation for the next line
9. Save an exit from vi "wq"
10. Restart wazapp

With this I was able to open and re-connect without problem, I don't know if there's another easy editor to do this, but for the moment this worked for me.

Regards.
