Yep, you are right.
Almost forgot about NaviFirm (not using my Symbian devices anymore or very rarely).
Sorry for spreading FUD.

You may also download directly
http://nds2.fds-fire.nokia.com/fdp/i...ED_MR0_ARM.bin
should be global variant.

But it is still not listed at
http://tablets-dev.nokia.com/nokia_N900.php !?

Is this that image the official Nokia file for PR1.3.1 or any modded version? The last image file is still not in the official Nokia site (http://tablets-dev.nokia.com/nokia_N900.php).

As you may see from the domain name in link, it is to be downloaded from NOKIA's servers. So it is "more or less" the official version. You are also able to use Navifirm to download this from NOKIA.
But yes, on the site where I would expect such update to appear, it is not listed. So dear users, that is the official NOKIA support strategy for the best device they ever abandonded.
I wonder what will happen to us Maemo users in 2013?

The result to this NOKIA's policy can be checked in the stocks market!! They were big enough to keep a parallel line of devices like N900, N9, etc. for power users, and at the same time develop Windows Phone devices. But someone thought that they should be only making windows devices...

Any firmwares taken with NaviFirm are official ones, directly from Nokia servers around the globe. NaviFirm is just a GUI to browse and download them.
So install NaviFirm and download proper FW using product code or product name.
