Hello.

I am seeking the location and format where the Nokia N900 stores the repeat cycle value for a calendar event. The built in presets are weak, to say the least, and if the internal format is something like a value in milliseconds (which I wouldn't be surprised on a Linux platform), I am prepared to hand-edit one event to modify that value. I want the event to work every 21 days, but there is not such a function in the calendar.

Of course, if you know of a user-friendly way to provide this functionality, I'd be glad to hear from you. I am prepared to switch to a third-party calendar/organizer software, so long as it uses the default calendar database for storage, so that all my calendar widgets and such remain functional.

Thank you for any recommendations you may come up with.
Regards,

Alex.

You can use my "scout" application.
Its primarily use is to search for calendar events.
But you can change some attributes as well.

If you have a repeating daily event, you can use
scout to change the interval of days.
