The 99 USD + free wireless charger price point @ AT&T sure seems competitive for the Lumia 920. Pre-orders start tomorrow and it ships on Friday. If it's a hit, Nokia is saved. If not, Elop is gone by the end of the quarter, and Nokia is pretty much doomed. Exciting times..

If I understand these things correctly, the American market, let alone the AT&T campaign is not big enough to make or break Nokia. Remember, Nokia was by far the worlds biggest phone mft without ever having a hold on the Americas. It's the developing countries where Nokia need to pull in money. And there, things are changing so fast, it's impossible to tell where they'll be in 3-5 years.

Let's see if the US election will influence the stock markets/Nokia any much this morning. I'll see if I can't post a graph early today.

While we wait for NOK1V at Helsinki, we can have a look at yesterday at NYSE:

Surely these changes are so small as to be statistically insignificant against the backdrop of the companies potential based on where they were at their best?

Yes, it's been hovering at 2 euros for several months now. When WP8 gets rolling and the new generation Lumia start selling it will double in an instant. But if you are late you will miss out on most of it. I don't suspect it will go higher than 4-5 euros for some time.
