Progress has stopped until I get the parts and find a way to attach the case.

On a different note, I bought a Nikon D5100 and two lenses, so once I get the mount I have glass to test with.

This seems like a typical S-Mount (M12x0.5mm) lens. Most of those assembled to webcams are crap (cheaply built, not applicable for megapixel resolutions) and probably not well-suited for 1/2.5" 5MP sensor anyway.

Try http://lensation.de/cms/index.php?op...cchk=1&lang=de or http://www.lechner-cctv.de/board-cam...-5-.75.en.html
to evaluate some of the better ones.

@ Letsee

My goal was to come up with simple solution and zero impact/damage to phone. So i managed to fit the washer that came with Fish-eye lens under slider/cover but had to significantly reduce thickness of washer to fit in that gap and got to be very careful not to damage slider/cover. And easily open and close it. Washer has a sticky glue on another side. It attaches strong enough to the surface (see pic.) Fish-eye lens has magnet-ring (see pic.) by cutting body of Lens to tight fit in to opening (obviously the more precise you are the better it fits). To cut aluminum body and portion of magnet ring i used a diamond disk. Probably picture quality could have been much better if i bought better Lens (this one cost me just $15) Lens gives almost 180° (see pic) Well after all this was just an experiment to see how will it works out. Im pretty sure its possible to improve it. Need time and efforts
