Ok, this is strange.... maybe check if they are stored in international format and if you stored them with the exact number, they are using Whatsapp with. Perhaps you stored them with an old number?

Otherwise it really seems to be a bug... but no idea if it's on side of Whatsapp or Wazapp.

By the way, what happened to the refresh circle in the top right of the contacts tab!? We need a way of retrieving new statuses and contact images. Also can we lateron have a way to import WhatsApp profile images and contact images into our phonebook for the original contacts in full resolution?

Took about a day to be fixed.

However give it a registration try thru bluestacks. If you receive the same error, wait a day and if still u cant just contact whatsapp support.

I stored in my phonebook every contact with the international country code. And all contacts are from the same country. Some of the missing contacts use iOS and some android.

And I have not stored the wrong number cause I can call them or send them a sms.

how about extra characters? It was my problem.

@developers: I noticed that special fonts like "&" or quotes don't appear and are not sent.. Is this a known issue?
(I use www.wazapp.im version)
