Couple of thoughts crossing my mind:

This week I have new beta in schedule for beta testers.
It has psx emulation in final state.
I don't know whether in-app help will be included.

Then I will send it to the Ovi Store.

Then I am going to rewrite the whole thing to Qt5, with portability in mind, so it would be possible to run EmuMaster on many platforms including Desktops, Android and maybe NaCl(with different frontend).
It will be easier to contribute to the project then.

The only variable here is my free time.

Porting from Qt4 to Qt5 shouldn't be a huge amount of work in theory. But will it be available on the Ovi Store then ? Or will we have to install Qt5 from an unofficial repository to use it on Harmattan ?

In theory yes, but I have plans to make couple of big changes:
- use QtQuick 2.0 and new features
- make the frontend more elastic or switchable, e.g. to use on tablets, desktops
- make easier to mantain versions of saved states
- make everything faster by some tricks
- make it easier to contribute to the project

Qt5 - I don't know how it will be installed, it's Beta2 now, I am waiting for the final release.

Hi!
I'm planning to buy one or two PS3 controllers and a TV cable for my N9 but I'm a bit confused about the controllers. I never had a PS3 but I was able to figure out there is a difference between a sixaxis and a dualshock 3 controllers. I'm looking for a controller that is 100% compatible with emumaster, but unsure which one I should choose.
1. Cheap Chinese copy: probably won't work
2. Original PS3 sixaxis: this will work
3. Original PS3 dualshock older version: ???
4. Original PS3 dualshock newer version: ???

Sixaxis controller is quiet rare now and finding a Dualshock 3 would be a much easier. + 1 if the vibration is working for PSX emulation.
Sooo, which controller would you suggest to buy?
Thx

It haven't sent the new version yet to beta testers, because of couple of regessions which needs to be fixed.

Is there a setting to lower audio sample rate for GBA emulation? With some other emulators I've managed to get rid of sound stuttering by reducing audio quality so I thought it would be worth trying.

I think Elemental mentioned that the audio emulation will be re-done for each of the emulators in the next version of EmuMaster.
