No other way than to install nightly version? I am using version 0.9.20...

Hi guys I'm facing a grave problem with my wazapp. Until this afternoon it was still working fine. However at 11pm there are sudden weird problems. All my contacts in wazapp (which were previously present) are gone and I cannot send any messages to any group. The keyboard and message box appears but after keying in and press send it simply doesn't appear in the chat window. I've tried to restart wazapp a few times but still it won't go away. Somemore every single time when I restart it will start reloading the messages I've seen since 11pm as new unread messages. I'm really confused and dunno what to do now Whatsapp is extremely important to my group work so may any kind soul please please help me? Thank you so so much!!

try removing wazapp, reboot phone and install it again.

by removing do u mean a full uninstallation or simply delete it from home screen and re-install? It's been a very long time since I last removed wazapp so I kinda forgot about the procedure etc. Also, will that require me to re-register? Thank you!

I have an N9, latest software [according to the device itself...].
I have Wazapp 0.9.2.
I have an activation code through Bluestack, and I am using the same MSISDN through Bluestack / Wazapp.
When I try to put the activation code through Wazap I get the "old_version" error message.
Not sure what to do next, so if anybody can help, help !

None of what you posted works.
I started facing this same problem about two months ago.
(See page 1001 or near with my ID).
I've tried everything:
close and restart
uninstall and reinstall
uninstall, purge completely, download .deb installation file and install
clean cache
erase Wazapp account and register again -keeping pin number


And though I posted failure through different channels
(this site, Twitter, Wazapp page at facebook)
I haven't got any suggestion.
Have seen though it didn't only happen to me but you too.
And some other falks that posted issue at facebook.

Sorry I just update complaint but have no solution either.
If find something I will post it.
Tonight I was about to update to version 0.9.20-nightly 23.

Had same issue and went through endless amount of removing and installing it until today its finally resolved
going through pretty much entire wiki and this thread.
Prior to installing new version you should completely remove and purge and then go with new installation.
Obviously you can use Xterminal or one of the useful (easier to use) app like FileCase to get access.

I stated that question in other Threads, but never got a real answer:

Are there Terminal Commands, or other ways to set the Wazapp Account to "offline" or "online" again? Or do i really have to close Wazapp by Settings -> Exit to get it offline?
