I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but this is a very interesting kickstarter project.

DIY cellphones anyone? It'll be a bit big, but with real usb and hdmi, it sounds awesome.

Very interesting project. If power usage isn't skyrocketing, Jolla is just getting a competitor, in form of fully mainstreamed ARM Linux with phone functionality...

After all, screen, bluetooth, GPS and other things are already ready for Pi, aren't they?

Add: Nemo, Camera, Nice Thin Case, you have a N9 successor and a Device more open then the Jolla Phone.

I would have bought an open pandora if it had gsm! Alas
it would very cool if this could fit it and be used for calls and txt!

Is that a bad thing? Look at the N900, for example.
