I have the same problem, can't update to 1.8.1. My last version also is 1.7.9.
The OVI store show me update, but when I open this app page it show me "Installed" and instead button "Update" , it show "Launch"...
Any idea what the problem ?
Thanks

I've found that the "Video cannot be played" error disappears and the video plays fine when I tried again. Sometimes on the second try, sometimes it takes 10, but 9 times out of 10 it plays eventually.
This is with 1.8.1. I have not tried it with 1.8.0 but it might be the same.
