Found it! Check the link!

Edit: note that they changed the webpage design after the opened the preorders to all of EU (and Switzerland). It may be that those first of the first will have priority over others.

So in your world, a person signing up (without paying) from, say, Canada should get the phone before a EU-resident who payed for it. Even though they stated Canada is not on their list yet. Well. Interesting.
If this is the case then Jolla should have clearly told this before that priority depends on payment. They never said this. Now for those who paid advance, they are getting special limited / limited editions phone (+ other half / shirt). That's the advantage customer get by selecting 100$ or 40$ option, not the priority. Moreover 100$ or 40$ (i don't remember exactly) one of the option were not available globally. So how can you say that those who paid will get higher priority.

Thx. That was not the one I've ordered from there it's clearly stated. Did they remove the prio just before I preordered? Just to trick me...

Did batch 2 have the same prio?

It was clear enough for me at that time, otherwise I wouldn't have chosen the €100,- option. Paid = first batch of the "limited edition". €0 = whenever available in your country afterwards.

Also, when I ordered, I'd also read various comments from Jolla stating that the €0-option was meant for those outside the EU to "express their interest". Doesn't sound like an order when they tell you "we won't ship to your country in the near future".

But maybe I read texts differently because IAAL. I thought it was clear back then, otherwise I wouldn't have paid.

I offer my apology, to those that haven't been douches in their prior responses...
I'm absolutely certain at some point it was explained there would be no prioritisation.

*edit*
too late it seems

Yes, looks more like it. But I think the third option was there as sold out. I'm in batch two or three now or what?

The first of the first should have prio since it was stated very first web page. but after that order date.
Wtf! I demand to be prioritized with the 100 euro since it wasn't stated. How can they say you will be among first when others already have priority. Lame. And now you can get in Finnish store even faster ... Fail

Thanks, those "1" and "2" were the things that were burnt in my memory. Jolla was playing with their website quite a lot back then. Good find.

Now, weekend time. Only 12 days to start seeing reviews and videos. I look forward to that.

It beats me on what logic someone just "yelling I want one" instead of paying up should get his or her device before the ones who showed belief in the product.
There's other ways show belief in a product aside from a raw dump of $, you're being quite offensive to a large subset of followers by claiming you're in some way more deserving or a "true believer", simply because you happened to have $ to dump at the time. I'm in the unfortunate position of having misunderstood the circumstances at the time, how on earth I managed that God only knows, so for me, it wasn't even the case that I wouldn't have paid, had I known there was prioritisation I most probably would've. And there's been very little "whining" here as you characterise it, mostly I've simply been correcting what I was quite sure was wrong, it seems I was, lack of sleep doesn't help.

However, I do not think this will make any practical difference in the end. All who paid or registered will get theirs within a few days or at worst weeks. The lucky 450 who will be selected for the launch party just get theirs a few days earlier than anyone else. And they need to queue for it in the cold Finnish winter. The rest will get the device shipped to home door...
This seems wildly optimistic, plus, you wouldn't be one of those people who thinks only in terms of EU = World, would you?

Actually, now that I think back, that may have been why I opted for the $0 pre-order, & that's why I recall repeatedly asking if I'd have less prioritisation & being told no, anyway, it's all academic now, what's done is done, apologies again for all the confusion, I'm going to bed

I feel you. To be honest, Jolla has a better chance of getting a device to you if they completely sell out now and not even everybody in EU countries get their hands on it. It costs time, I know, but it's one of the few ways that operators/resellers will show interest: by realizing that there is a successful product out there.
