Thanks. It works when I do it in the terminal. I could not set it up in Profilematic.

However, meanwhile I found even easier solution - for internet connection to work on the PC there is needed to disconnect mobile internet connection from the phone.

Meaning that PC can not connect to the internet using phone modem when the phone itself is using this modem for internet connection (Why I did not think about that any earlier????).

Now this solves the sim card install/reinstall problem. However, it would still be useful / more convinient to have some sort of rule in Profilematic to automatically disconnect mobile phone internet connection when the usb charging is connected.

I tried to apply "Power saving mode" rule, as this should also disconnect internet from the phone. However, this can not be used while charging. Any better ideas?

Thanks! These commands work perfectly if I enter them from the terminal and if I am root. Without root, they do not work.

I will continue tomorow and try to get root commands installed in Profilematic using following instructions: http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p...&postcount=884
