Might be the brother of my phone. I cant flash at all, never have been able to.
type flasher -i
Turn off the phone
plug in the phone
do not touch anything
If all goes well it should boot into dev mode. Wait for windows to install the correct drivers for dev mode.

can you at least sync it with a computer?
did that, n9 turns on, shows nokia for a few seconds, and then shows the battery icon for charging.
Also i have a second n9 which syncs well, so i guess i have all the windows drivers
i recently bought a used n9 on ebay for 50€. I got it so cheap because it was sold as not working.
the discription said:
now i wanted to fix the camera first. I alerady tried some fixes from http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=91655.
I restored the n9 to factory settings and so on.
Now my next step would be to flash the phone.
However when I try flashing my phone, the flasher cant detect it.
When im supposed to connect the phone, the phone simply starts instead of "syncing". The flasher cant find my phone and wont do anything.
currently installed is 40.2012.21-3_PR_006, so thats the version for middle east, i now want to install the european image.
so how can i flash my phone when it cant be detected?
thansk in advance
