Is it possible to run Truphone on the N810? It works with Nokia mobiles, but not sure of this 810

It looks like they are just another SIP based VOIP provider, so it should work fine with an N810 after you set up that account.

I'm not familiar with how to set it up, but I do know that James Brody, one of the top Truphone guys, was over on Jaiku asking if there was interest in a dedicated client. I don't know if they have a forum or anything, but the feedback to them would be a good start, maybe they're already working on it?

I would be great to get a dedicated client for Truphone on the 800/810!

Check out Jaiku not idea how to find him there. Link?

Yep, would be wonderful to have.

I've been waiting for a couple months now for an invite to Jaiku, about given up on it. Even sent a second request after around a month - no luck with that one either :-(.

Well if they are just a SIP based VOIP service then I'm not sure what advantage there would be with a dedicated client app. (other then maybe 1 host entry during account setup?) The Nokias already support SIP accounts, you just add them via "accounts" in the control panel and then place calls from your Cotacts or the Internet Call application. You can also use a Bluethooth headset.
