It's semi-random here from all private carriers but they usually deliver after 5 pm. Whatever you do, don't watch the tracking-- you will go nuts watching the package go places that make no sense.
When I was a kid the US mail always arrived at our house before noon-- usually by 10:30 am. Now I'm lucky to get it before 4 PM. But hey: they keep that one mail truck busy!

I had that happen to me waiting for my G5. Took the day off to take delivery, waited all day and finally the FedEx truck pulled up at 7:05PM, guy stopped for about 30 seconds and drove away. Checked the website and it was marked as "Owner not home". What a joke! Customer support didn't care a lick.

Watch it be like one of those "Bad batches" from amazon or something that goes bonkers on first boot and starts an infinite loop of boot up and restarts. Then you have to send it back and wait two weeks for the new one or order a new one and wait for the return to be credited to your account.
