5.2 - 5.7in for me, shaved bezels.

No preference of 5.7in over 5.2in, vice versa.
5.2in suffices and is easy on the palm and pocket.
5.7in is not too bad on palm/pocket but better for car navigation.

To me Jolla should go for a really small device like 3 inch or a big one like 5.5 or bigger.

I am curious about form factors of Nokia 5510 and E70. Was there anything similar released recently?

Also, is it only me, or are Palm Pre and Palm Pixi looking a bit like BlackBerry in their form factor?

Best wishes.

My test is - can I touch all four corners of the display with my thumb. If I can, it's fine for one handed use. My smartphones have had 3.8 inch (LG Optimus 7), 4.5 inch (Nokia Lumia 920), 4.2 inch (BlackBerry Z10), 4.5 inch (Nokia Lumia 1020) and 4.5 inch (Jolla) displays.

I loved the LG's display at the time, but when I tested it again recently, typing felt too cramped, and the browser was frustrating on full desktop sites. The 920 was absolutely brilliant in the hand, 4.5 inch felt fine, extra screen space was nice to have (and the display itself was lush). The BlackBerry Z10 was probably the sweet spot at 4.2 inch, and I felt a little uncomfortable when I went back up to the 4.5 inch Lumia 1020. That may just have been because of the huge camera bump though, because the Jolla feels great in the hand...

My point? Screen size doesn't make a huge deal of difference - it's the other dimensions that count.

For me the right size is 4.7 inches or however no more than 5.
Jolla can leave unchanged the size of the phone and working on the frames in the sides ...

Completely agree with From Vertu with Love, screen size itself does not matter that much as overall design usability when actually using the device.

To me 4" or max 4,5" is really enough, 5"++ is too big for me.

My vote goes for 4"
