Money is not the real issue in the world.
It is faith.
Jolla having no money means no relevant money source trusts in theyr business model.
As a long time supporter i can only shake my head over especially "Anttis" mind set and actions contradicting every good trait i learned in 14 years as a freelancer...

My educated hope lies on sharks that are narrowing theyr circles around the ever slowing prey calculating theyr effort to catch it.

I actually talked the case casually with one of my customers (german kyocera ceo) and learned they actually build an own mobile phone i never heard of. It is nearly indistructible (freakin really!) because its made of keramics.
Anyhow, i had about 5 minutes to make a case on Jolla and Sailfish which he had actually heard of (electronis geek type of guy).
You wonder about his answer after i tried to sell him jolla for 10mio per year.
He said like "The actual costs to enter a market of that size and structure is around 1 Bil. (Europe Mrd.) per year just for marketing. You need to ask Marc Shuttleworth, not a small fish like us".

You can get one in rip-off Britain for the same number of currency units as it costs in Germany. Only the currency units are slightly different.

BTW that link has only one review but very useful. A phone with a screen you can actually see outside! Dropping it on the rocks! After a year with Jolla, a phone that does not reboot in my pocket when I gently tap on it sounds like a dream.

This is perhaps the scariest thought of this entire thread to me.
