Can anyone help me perform the above?
Ziggy needs a reflash but I cannot aford to lose any data from the calendar. I've read there's a database file somewhere but i understand this is hidden. How would a linux noob go about copying this file?

Thanks in advance!

you could use Maemo's backup app or simply copy the files in /home/user/.gpe/* on your card !

I wuz just doing the same thing. I'm a total noob also. Seems to work in xterm. Check out http://www.internettablettalk.com/fo...ght=gpe+backup

Now if someone will tell me how to get xterm to recognize file names with spaces (i.e. 'My Calendar')

you can use tab or double quotes <"> or backslash before special characters
My<tab>
"My Calendar"
My\ Calendar
