Well, I don't recall ever needing a hooker to use my Jolla device so I suppose it is true.

well, still SFOS on Nexus5 feels noticeably smoother compared to Jolla phone (better hw makes a difference)

Can anyone explain this sentence from the heisse online article: "Die Steuerung des Geräts ausschließlich über Wischgesten klappte wie beim ersten Jolla Smartphone intuitiv und ohne Hakler."

which Google translate renders as: "The control of the device only via swipe gestures worked as the first smartphone Jolla intuitively and without hooker."

Is this a colloquialism? Specifically the "hooker" part, I mean.
Free translation would be
“just like on the first Jolla smartphone, controlling the device only using swipe gestures worked well, intuitively and without hiccups”.

“Hakler” is a strange sort-of-colloquial term meaning (in this case) UI freezes.
Unfortunately no mention of hookers at all.

so, Intex phone (at some form) was at MWC. More than a few blogs reported about aqua. And two weeks later their page is the same like it was during last six months. Apparently, they licensed more than just OS from Jolla.

that there is no any new or actually any information about that phone, I never studied marketing but this is just plain stupid. They probably won't sell millions of those but I'm sure that they hope for some profit from it, otherwise, why even bother. And I'm also sure that someone told them that there are people who are familiar with, like sailfish and expect a new phone with it. So why not use that? Why they don't promote their own product on their own web?
