Ok... I was running out of ideas so i've "borrowed" this theme ( and even the text) from here. Any doubts can be clariified visiting the website wich contains some examples.

Elements of Design
"We are looking for photos that showcase line, shape, pattern, form, texture, perspective, etc. They can consist of any subject matter.
Perspective
Line
Pattern
We are also looking for images that demonstrate cool photographic techniques, such as bokeh and motion blur.
This category is NOT for:
Graphic design illustrations made in a program like Adobe Illustrator and extreme digital creations do not belong in this category. Here we are looking for the elements of design - line, shape, pattern, etc."

Not an uber-connoisseur,
so I had to go look up bokeh

This could be an excellent competition

Quite hard to pull off "bokeh" with such a small sensor.. only if you have 808

Nevertheless cool theme. Happy to live near Rotterdam and the building patterns are great there (Applies to any (big) modern city)

Ok. here is my entry. A shot of the Oculus building at the World Trade Center in NYC. Photo was taken with a Huawei Mate 9. Default settings. I cropped out about 10% and then resized it to 25% of original to upload it here.

I may have to skip this because of bad weather... Tomorrow morning should be more sun so there is little change to take one before voting time...

Great pictures allready...

Mine is about light as a decoration.

I truly did not want to photograph architecture or,
as in this photo, constructions of any sort.

However, the sunlight was gloriously blinding and I could not resist.
