I havent turned it on. but it is bought in same store as mine so its no issue. looked devices is nono.
I have to start it. put my sim in it and go thorough android installation steps. cant you buy another device. this takes to much time. :S have you checked that you can use it in you country?
I can do that later if you want.

It saved me from buying a simunlocked but bootloader locked device last week

No need to put in any simcard to boot/install/deploy an android phone.
(I did not put as simcard even near the Xperia before flashing SFOS on it)

I don't trust poeple without a Nokia n900...
