No, it's not OK. Have you tried the latest Pure Maps? Sounds similar to a bug that got fixed as a part of latest release.
on my device, it works as expected (assuming that edit means to or from)

Yes, v1.17.0 on XC. It's OK in Portret_orientation from start of Navigation_menu, or even Type from Nav_menu. But in Album_orientation...
I'm on SFOS 3.0.1.11. If that makes a difference. note that I'm traveling right now and will be able to look into it in a week or a bit later. Please feel free to open an issue at github with the logs or put them here.

What's strange there are no real errors in the log either. thanks for sending it, maybe something goes wrong after few iterations.
try to write down protocol as exactly as possible that would lead to your issue from the moment you start application. let's see if its pure maps or xc bug.
