I have this rare, unreleased silver prototype

https://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=100714

Due to its screen, its price is only 500 Euro (exclusive price for the community only). Another silver with similar screen was sold in that price about 2 months ago, while another one with perfect screen had been sold for a few thousands...

Interesting. So what should a non silver one with a fully working screen go for?

^ more.

Have a look on ebay.

There's one right now that starts bidding at 600EUR.

Me, I have given up on ever owning this device. It's idiotic, paying museum prices.

In general, since the silver ones are unreleased prototypes, and much fewer in number, they are also more expensive. I had sold a black one with good screen for the same price, and another black one in almost perfect condition with box, manuals etc for about 700Euro. Now, I have 2 silver ones only.

For comparison, a silver one with dot on the screen (not mine) was sold about 2 months ago for about 500USD, while a guy with black ones with dots, he has them for sale at 150USD for a few years and nobody buys them... Black ones are worthy only as complete and in good condition and with clean screen, while the silver ones are much rarer so even with a dot, they still have some value.

I see one at 700USD + shipping. But is bidding, so can be easily more than 1000USD in the end.

It depends on the device. If it is a used black one, but in good condition, boxed with manuals etc, that would be reasonable. If it is complete boxed etc and unused or like new with protectors etc, that would be cheap. If it is a silver, fully functional, that would be also cheap. For anything else, that would be a bit high... Eg a used black one without anything, etc...
