Ha, thanks for the good fit.
The technician splicing my FTTH has just left the house and i did photos of the process
Here is the fiber end coming from a dslam outside the house. Merrily reflecting the automated splicers guide light while waiting to get spliced to my wall plug connectors end.

Cool!
Wish I could have seen that done when Ma Bell installed my fiber, but if it's been welded somewhere, it's a long, long way away. The fiber certainly comes on a long spool, I see "10844 FEET" marked on the jacket on the inside of my house (my brain says that's > 3300m ish). Of course I don't know what the index was where they started, but they seem equipped for some long pulls.
