I'm trying to resurrect my N9. It boots to an error message saying I should take the device to Nokia Care. That is probably because the battery was empty and it tried to turn itself on too many times.
I flashed the device with ubiboot and with cable connection got to see three drives, "Nokia N9" and two linux-formatted drives. Old pics and documents were still on the phone. I also checked the linux-drives for MALF file but found none.
When I tried to flash the firmware I got this:
Code:
C:\Program Files\Nokia\Flasher>flasher -f -F DFL61_HARMATTAN_40.2012.21-3_PR_LEGACY_009-OEM1-958_ARM.bin -F DFL61_HARMATTAN_40.2012.13-7.NOMAPS_EMMC_NOMAPS.bin --no-preserve
flasher 3.12.1 (Oct 6 2011) Harmattan
Warning: --no-preserve is not recommended, instead use erase commands

So, is it a hardware problem and the phone is dead?
