So much for the trend of leading web sites being optimised for handheld devices.
In fact I am not even sure that it is a good reference for any screen resolution. Personally I think the new design is an extravagant waste of screen space. However ‘room to breathe’ is the overriding mantra and, judging by the weight of favourable comments, it is here to stay.
