I would really like to be able to copy & paste url:s into podcasts etc. but for somehow it doesn't work. There is the go-round at least in N810 to use display-text input for paste, but as I otherwise use the hardware keyboard, it is clumsy.

PS : before posting, it's common on Forums (like a cool thing to do before creating a new thread to search for some answers to your problem) this problem has been reported and explained a couple of times (don't mean to be rude, it's just to keep the forum as focused (fewer threads) as possible! )

Dr. blind : the hardware keyboard seems to have problems with non-GTK problem. We did what was possible, but the FN functions, and other shortcuts like control+c control+v don't work for now outside the GTK applications.

So for now, you have 2 options :

1) if you have canola tunning there's an easier way (no control+c control+v of any kind) the tuning application adds a feed handler to the browser so hit the feed link, it will open a preview window. Hit the RSS feed on the lower left, and you will be able to add straight to canola as : podcast, internet radio or photocast.

Take a look here : http://www.openbossa.indt.org/canola/using.html#podcast

2) use the method you know : hitting the on-screen "menu" button beside the enter button and select paste.

So, sorry if it's klumsy, but we don't have way to solve as this is a platform component, what we can do (tell the others about the bug) we already did, but they have other priorities I guess...

Cheers,

Marcelo
