Hi all,

Just got my N770 a few days ago with a 1gb mmc card, for some strange reason I can't seem to get this device detected by my PC as a mass storage device.

I'm running Vista, everytime I connect via the USB cable, it tries to search for a driver. In Computer->Manage->Devices, it shows up as Nokia N770.

I've tried installing the Nokia cable drivers but no luck.

This has really really stumped me. Can anyone please help?

Thanks

Reformat your hard drive and install WIndows XP Pro or throw the entire machine out the window and buy a Mac.
Or hold your breath and wait for Nokia to release a signed driver?
It should just show up as external storage anyway, but it's Vista so who knows.

Seriously.
As someone who is evaluating Vista for a massive rollout, it's just not ready for primetime yet. Wait until SP1 officially comes out.

Download and use a Linux LiveCD Distribution.
