when I run:

I've done it a few times without any ill effects. Of course, YMMV.

Many of the updates in your list seem to come from the RTCOMM update.

If you need them, probably it's safer to update following their instructions in http://rtcomm.garage.maemo.org/

UPDATE: After having done this, I've decided that it broke some dependencies that are going to keep me from updating Xournal as well as being able to install some apps.

bummer.

Anyone got any ideas on the best/easiest way to fix this? I'd rather ask now, and listen to the responses that just to the ol' rip-n-replace way.
