- When a new phone is returned as being faulty, it automatically gets a new battery. These people sell the virtually new batteries that replaced. My N800 battery cost me £8 including VAT and postage, and was delivered the next day after ordering.

Mine arrived, prompt service, well packaged.

Sadly unless for the 14days it has been thrown around rather than used in an N800, I suspect its no where near the claimed new condition.

Arrived with no charge at all

I will reserve judgment until have properly power cycled it a couple of times though.

Did yours arrive looking in physically ok condition?

Mine was fine - the hoolgram hadn't even been scratched. I don't know if it was charged as I put in the machine, plugged in the charger and went to bed.

with so many nokia phones being sold at a discount, I am wondering whether it's cheaper to buy a complete phone with new battery and charger, and chuck the phone away! Anyone know if there's a compatibility table of nokia phones which take the same battery as the NITs?

--edit-- the 770 and n800 take the BP-5L, and this is used in (as far as I can tell by looking at various online shops)
7100, 7500, 7710, 9500, E61, E70, 770, N800, N92,

Many thanks for the link.

Please treat the batteries like new batteries. Full 12 hour charge and then let to go flat 3 times and then let to go flat once a month. Guarantee extended to 30 days for any ITT forum members.

The batteries do have marks and scratches, but it's performance that's matters!

Would be happy to respond to any battery related questions.

Regards
James

I cannot stress how battered my battery looks James - I really don't see how this could have happened, as you packaged it so well.

I just put it on for its 3rd time charging from flat, and will then compare how long it can run the device for, compared to my 6 month old battery.

You've got my email address, any problems and I'll refund or replace.

James.
